Izzy Resort — for mountain ops & patrol

When a skier triggers SOS, your patrol's phones buzz in seconds.

Izzy Resort is the real-time operating system for the mountain: a dispatch console for the shack, a staff app for the hill, and a live wire to skiers' phones. Retire the paper sweep logs, the whiteboard, and the radio roll-call — run the whole day from one live system.

The ops console

One screen that runs the mountain.

A live dispatch console that works in any browser — on the shack iPad, the patrol director's laptop, or the wall. Skier SOS alerts and staff-reported incidents land in the same queue, and everything updates in under a second.

  • Live incident queue & dispatch — assign patrollers, add timeline notes, track acknowledged → en route → on scene → closed, with outcomes and injury severity.
  • Incident wall map — every open incident on a live mountain map, built for the shack iPad.
  • Coverage heatmap — see which sections of the mountain nobody has checked lately: green under 2 hours, amber 2–4, red beyond.
  • Lift & trail status board — open, hold, or close in one click; the change flows straight into skiers' apps.
  • Shift & staffing dispatch — who's clocked in where, per lift and per position, with force clock-out and a 14-hour fatigue safeguard.
  • Staff comms that confirm — broadcast to everyone, one team, or one lift crew; urgent messages require acknowledgment, and you see who has read what, live.
  • Talk to your guests — publish announcements skiers see in the app: lift holds and conditions, but also events, deals, and the day's happenings. Each is labeled by who sent it — Patrol, Ops, or Resort.
  • Reach them even off the mountain — send once and reach every skier on your hill today plus everyone who set you as their home or current resort, wherever they are. Adults only, one push each — a marketing channel to your whole community.

Role-aware by design. Patrol, mountain ops, and guest services each see exactly their piece — and every state change writes an append-only audit row with the real actor behind it.

The Izzy Resort app

One app for everyone on the mountain.

iOS and Android, built for gloves and goggles. Izzy Resort is one app for the whole staff — patrollers, lift operators, and guest services each get their own tools, and everyone shares a single messaging channel. Clock in, and the mountain knows you're on.

  • Patrol — incident response — an SOS reaches every on-shift patroller in 2–3 seconds; one tap claims it, then acknowledge → en route → on scene → closed, with photos and notes.
  • Patrol — navigate & sweep — the skier's live GPS on the map with one-tap hand-off to navigation, plus open, spot, and close sweep logs that keep the coverage map current.
  • Lift ops — set any lift or trail status with one tap, clock in and out of a lift position, and see who's staffing which lift right now.
  • Guest services — post and read the announcements skiers see in the app, and check the whole-mountain status roll-up at a glance.
  • Everyone — staff comms — receive broadcasts scoped to all-staff, your team, or your lift crew; acknowledge the urgent ones and reply straight back to the sender.
  • Everyone — your shifts — see your scheduled assignments and check in and out from your phone.

Never fake a location. On-shift patroller positions refresh every few minutes so dispatch can route the nearest responder — and a bad GPS fix is dropped, never guessed, because a wrong dot could send help to the wrong side of the mountain.

The closed loop

The only console wired straight to the skier's phone.

Izzy, the AI ski companion, rides in skiers' pockets at 82 IKON, EPIC, and independent resorts. Partner with Izzy Resort and their SOS lands in your dispatch queue — with their real name, live GPS, and a 60-second breadcrumb trail — and your patrol's response travels all the way back to their pocket.

  • Verified identity, stamped server-side — dispatch sees who's calling; it can't be forged.
  • "Patrol is responding," back to a locked phone — the skier hears from you even with the phone in a pocket. Parents of a kid in SOS are alerted in parallel.
  • A push channel to your guests — announcements and lift status reach every Izzy user on your mountain, instantly.
  • Honest fallback — if no patroller confirms in time, the skier is told to call 911. Izzy never fakes coverage — and never replaces your emergency procedures.

Life-safety engineering

Built like lives depend on it.

Izzy Resort treats every SOS as a life-safety event, and the engineering follows: the system is designed to fail toward alerting a human, never toward silence.

  • Never-drop SOS — an incident is never lost to a push hiccup; alerting keeps retrying around any failure.
  • Escalates until a human answers — re-alerts roughly every minute, widening from on-shift patrollers to all patrol-eligible staff; an unacknowledged incident stays loud on the console, never silently expires.
  • Confirm-first honesty — the skier hears "patrol is responding" only when a patroller actually responds, never from a delivery count.
  • One press, one incident — retries can't duplicate an SOS, and floods can't poison the queue.
  • Accountable to the second — an append-only audit trail records every state change with the real person behind it; staff access is per-resort, least-privilege, with two-factor on sensitive changes.

Supplemental by design: Izzy Resort strengthens your existing patrol and emergency procedures — it never replaces radios, dispatch protocols, or 911.

Pilot program · 2026–27 season

Live in days, not seasons.

Izzy Resort is launching with partner mountains for the 2026–27 season. One codebase, no per-resort builds, no hardware beyond the iPads you already own — onboarding is measured in days.

1

Import your mountain

Pull your lift and trail roster from OpenStreetMap in one click, set your map and mountain sections.

2

Invite your staff

Email invites with role-based access — patrol, ops, guest services; admins and members. No public sign-up, ever.

3

Go live

Patrol works the incident queue, lift ops set status and staffing, and guest services post announcements — all from the console and one staff app. Skier SOS starts landing in your queue.

Pilot slots for the 2026–27 season are limited. Tell us about your mountain — patrol size, pass affiliation, current dispatch setup — and we'll come back within days.
